Wasteland 2: Director's Cut
Recruits[1] are non-player characters who can join the player's Ranger party and face the wastelands together.

- The Director's cut: overhauled graphics with fully redone character and level art, voice-over expanded with tens of thousands of lines, and new features make this the definitive version of Wasteland 2.
- Sorry for the trouble 4everAwake. I have found my problem. I just assumed that Wasteland 2 Director's cut was where I was to extract the zip. WL2.exe is in the 'BUILD' folder. When i extracted it there (where I was supposed to according to instructions) it worked great. I need to learn and follow directions better (LOL). Thanks for your patch.
- The player can recruit a total of 3 followers with a full-size Ranger squad, more if it is undermanned. The upper limit is 7 party members.
- All recruits have a chance to go rogue (ignore orders in combat), lowered by the Leadership skill.
- The player cannot modify the appearance of a recruit.
- The player can take three recruits of their choice with them to California.
- Dismissing companions in the Director's Cut will have them be unavailable until you are allowed access to Ranger Citadel's interior.
